The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and services to
customers, ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of equipment or
systems. They will also troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, delivering excellent
customer service and ensuring equipment functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Commissioning: Install, set up, and commission systems at customer sites.
- Maintenance & Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs; respond to service requests promptly.
- Customer Support & Training: Provide support and training to ensure correct usage and upkeep of systems.
- Problem Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical issues using hands-on and analytical skills.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain service logs and prepare reports for internal and client use.
- Upgrades & Modifications: Recommend and assist with upgrades or modifications to improve system performance.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering, sales, and support teams on technical challenges and product improvement.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Follow safety and quality standards in all service operations.
Qualifications::
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- Relevant certifications or training in serviced equipment or systems.
- 2-3 years of experience in a service or technical support role preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
- Basic understanding of customer service and sales processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
